Bridal Tips

A face primer is ideal to neutralize skin imperfections, diminish the appearance of find lines and increase wearability. Apply over moisturizer or use alone.

Our recommendation… Color Science Wild to Mild, or Line Tamer

Using an eye primer neutralizes discoloration from the brow bone down to the eye lid, thus giving the eye area a perfect canvas for true color as well as hours of long lasting eye shadow wearability without fading or creasing.

Our recommendation…Color Science “My Favorite Eye Cream”

Foundation should look and feel like a second skin. The more natural looking the better. Mineral foundation is water resistant and feather weight, making it the perfect choice.

Our recommendation...Color Science mineral make-up “Crème de la Crème” Foundation Brush, or Pressed Mineral Pigment

To enhance the eyes, use a soft shimmering eyeshadow on lid and use a sheer matte finish eyeshadow in crease of eye and under brow. If eyeshadows are too pearlized under brow, the area will reflect the light creating a bright spot above the eyes in photographs. To make the eyes stand out, curl the lashes with an eye lash curler before mascara application. To avoid mascara buildup and caterpillar lashes, apply Jan Marini Age Intervention eyelash conditioner one month prior to the wedding day. This will condition and add amazing length and dimension to your lashes. In most cases, having to use only one coat of mascara will be all you need. The lashes will look longer, fuller and more natural.

Our recommendation… Silk Radiance eye shadows in Champagne Lace, Pink Charmeuse and Shimmering Taupe, Jan Marini Age Intervention eye lash conditioner

When using mascara on the bottom lashes, use a soft brown, so it will not cast shadows under the eyes. It will look more natural and balanced to the top lashes.

Our recommendation… ColorScience Cry me a River Mascara in black and brown/black

For longer-lasting color, line lips as well as entire mouth. Apply lipstick (in the same color family). It’s best to use a long-lasting mineral lipstick  formulated to stay on and not transfer even during that long “I do!” kiss.
